Educational Background
Urvashibahen Patel, RMT and Registered Acupuncturist, graduated from to M.S. University, where she completed her undergraduate degree and Kikkawa College, where she received her certification for Massage Therapy.
She studied Acupuncture at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Professional Experience
Urvashibahen applies Swedish techniques to each type of treatment, from relaxation, pain management or rehabilitation including sports related sprains/strains, manual lymphatic drainage technique and prenatal and infant massage. Based on the patient’s condition, she uses different modalities including acupuncture, fire cupping and acupressure. She works with her clients’ wellbeing as a priority and develops effective treatment plans to help them with their recovery.
She is also a CPR and First Aid Instructor.
